I ventured out recently with a friend just learning about photography composition. She has been taking a photography course, and wanted to practice some of her classroom learnings. We stopped at this site, and worked with composition principles and techniques for some time; here is one of the images I composed.

The photograph was taken while driiving on Alberta, Canada's Hwy 40, which traverses what is called "Kananaskis Country," a wilderness and recreational area west of Calgary. The mountains pictured are on the eastern slopes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
