Heavily cropped photo of another Red Tail trying to figure out who the idiot was imitating its screams, that would be me! Liked the way the light hit the dropped left wing.
I see one or two of these guys every week, but never attempted to get a decent photo due to the distance they usually maintain. We had two Red Tails nest in a tall tree out back 6 or 8 years ago, but I didn't have a telephoto lens at the time. Anyway, that's a great shot with a very interesting wing configuration.
