Seeds of the sun

As the sunflower itself fades away, so an abundance of seeds appear, ready to feed the birds or be harvested and sewn ready to grow next summer.

Ecclesiastes 3

1. To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

2 ... ... ... a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted
Squirrels always cut mine down and remove them.
