Padstow is one of our favourite places. On a visit many moons ago now, we spotted a pottery lamp stand and both fell in love with it. Without thinking of the size size of the car we had at the time (an mgb) we bought it. Somehow we managed to fit it into the car (complete with lampshade) and journey back to London. It's been a part of our home for over 26 years now and we still love it.
