Stars and Stripes

This flag hangs in the tower of the church I attend, the plaque beneath it reads:

''This flag was presented on 4th July 1976 by Dean George Williams, of the Episcopalian Diocese of Chicago, as he and his party celebrated the United States Bicentennial in this Parish.''
