This afternoon I enjoyed tea and cake with a dear friend at our local Garden Centre, which has a marvellous Christmas display, decked out with lights, decorations, candles, and so much more.
I was struck by the colours, bright lights and happy music playing in the background, and suddenly remembered that for many Christmas will not be a joyful time. So I've deliberately taken the colour out of this photograph.
