The Town That Time Forgot

Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The entire city is on the National Registry of Historic Places. Eureka Springs has been selected as one of America's Distinctive Destinations by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Eureka Springs has historically been called "The Little Switzerland of America" and "The Stairstep Town" because of its mountainous terrain and the winding, up-and-down paths of its streets and walkways. Quaint, historic, gorgeous original Victorian architecture. The town was founded on the strength of its healing springs, which date from the time of the ancient Indians.

What a cool building, I love the slope of the street (that might have something to do with me living in oh so flat Illinois). Great pov it makes for an interesting shot.

Great building Rosie. The story is so interesting. I've logged the web address for a visit later on as today we're planning an exploration of Stratford..
