Temple for the Arts

Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, in Kansas City, MO. I had to shoot on a grey day, darn it, but the building is an amazing space and I have tried to do it some justice. I tried this in b&w, but liked the color version much better.

It was designed by Moshe Safdie, who also designed the Crystal Bridges Art Museum, Bentonville, AK.
This is one of the few performing arts building that has two high quality performance halls inside. More interior views may follow. :)

Thanks, as always, to any to stop by to visit and comment... Such a talented community.
This is a wonderful shot Rosie, love the lines and the light.

This is incredible! The lines are gorgeous and your way of capturing the architectural beauty is perfect. Even the sky doesn't matter as everything should be about the building.
