across autumn fields. This farmland is near the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers, just thirty minutes north of St. Louis City, although you would never know if from the surroundings.

Love how the image transitions from the "sea" of autumn gold to the sky through the layers of the barns and then the trees. Of course the coloration of the barns tell me they have been quite steadfast in performing their duty despite nature's elements. Great image!
