One from my photo walk with @jyokota yesterday... this from the Chinese Lantern display at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Made of fabric, metal and lit from within, these displays are quite dramatic once the sun goes down. This decorated red cylinder sat atop a much larger sculpture, but I enjoyed the details of the dragon's fierce protruding face.
Thanks for treating my "lizard toes" shot so kindly yesterday. I enjoyed it - glad you did, too.
Thanks for taking time to visit. I appreciate each comment.

FAV - Love the closeup focus on the dragon's profile! I just posted mine, came to find your original one to link to, and found you had posted this one! Now we have the full size, the mid size, and the closeup as a set. Such fun memories!!
Lovely capture! I went to the same festival, but didn't manage to get a clear photo of the dragon, since I didn't have the proper lens. Did you get the "dandelions" near the Tower Grove House? I wasn't happy with how mine turned out, as it wasn't dark enough when we passed by that installation. Perfect colors. Very true to life! :)
