My daughter... knitting a sock, of her own design. I knitted for years, until other things (like photography) replaced it. I am so delighted to see this ancient art passed down.
I think this quote would please my daughter, so I include it:
"I am a crafty girl. I make things, lots of things.
I'll keep making things until my fingers fall off. Then, I will grab my hot glue gun, reattach those suckers & make more things. "
What a blessing, these children are, to all of us.

Socks are complicated, and being a knitter AND a photographer, you knew how to capture this so it makes sense. @vankrey -- you need to post some of your knitting photos, too!
Wonderful soft tones convey the tranquility of knitting...I used to knit but the sharp needles made my eyes hurt. They hurt just writing this...one of the ridiculous phobias I have that make no sense and have no grounding in reality!
