We had new visitors to our bird feeder today. My daughter thinks this may be a European Starling. If anyone knows differently, I would appreciate some guidance. I had two of them, apparently partnered up, but I could only get a clear shot of one.

It is, and don't encourage it/them. They're renowned for having bird lice! They're just a tiny bit short of being declared a noxious bird here, introduced species, of course. But it's a great shot, so clear and sharp.
Looks like a Starling to me. We have a ton of them here in Maine, probably not European though. But then you are in Europe so I'd say that is what it is.
Love the beautiful iridescent plumage of the European Starlings. Many do regard them as a nuisance here since they are non-native and travel in large flocks; however, I find them quite an attractive species especially with fresh white wing tips as seen on this one. This plumage reminds me of a starry night sky!
Hi, sorry I do get confused as to who lives where. Had time to look it up and the starling I know is tne common starling also known as european starling. Who knew..? He may have been blown into your area by a storm.
It's a starling and you really don't want them! They overpower and crowd out the "locals". I'm not sure how to get rid of them though. Since they are generally not a woodland bird we don't have problems with them where I live. Great close-up though!
