Origami in Color

This is the colored version of yesterday's shot. I wanted both of them in my project... sorry for the repetition. I would be interested to know which version folks prefer, this color one, or the black & white from yesterday.

If you are so inclined, this might be better on black, time permitting. I don't usually suggest this.

Anyway, thanks for taking time to visit and for all the kind comments about yesterday's shot. I appreciate all of them, very much.

Enjoy your week, all.
Beautifully captured!

I'm really surprised, but I like the color version best. The soft colors and delicate light are just beautiful.

@ishutter You know, I was surprised to feel the same way, too. Thanks for taking time to comment. I really appreciate it.

Gorgeous

I prefer the black and white, though they are both lovely. I find the colour just a little distracting from the simplicity and lines of the composition.

@caj1311 Thanks for taking time to look at both and give some feedback... very nice of you. Funny, how different eyes prefer different sights. :)

I love them both, but prefer the blank and white.

This is lovely too with the gold to silver gradations but I liked the b and w even better

This one too is very pleasing to the eye, but I prefer the b&w.

Looked at both. The colours here are lovely and soft but I do prefer the b&w.

I like the colour one best ☺

Such a creative shot! I love both versions but prefer the b& w version just a little bit more! Fav!

This is beautiful and a great reflection Fav

I love them both, difficult to pick one over the other. The colour version does look softer though and that makes it much more of a flowing photo. Didn't think I would ever say that because I am a big fan of b&w

They both are stunning but if I have to choose it will be this one - the colour one makes a very nice soft reflection

So striking and creative! Love it!

Again, fantastic shot, Rosie.

Had I not seen the mono version, this would have been a favourite, but the mono version without the distraction of colour allows the view more opportunity to appreciate the light and form without distraction.

absolutely gorgeous image, now I have to look at the black and white version, lovely

I think has the edge. FAV {shady}

I'd choose this one, the colours in the reflections add just a little more interest for me.

Beautiful - there is something so comforting about the round shapes, and this is a great one.

so beautiful

Beautiful in color, too.

Very creative and beautiful, Rosie!

Flipping between the two and I cannot decide which i prefer, both are great!
April 13th, 2016
Both these pictures have a minimalist charm. For me the coloured version just has the edge. Don't ask why.
