One from a few days ago. Sometimes I rent a lens, to try it out and see if I like it, without the full commitment of purchasing it.
I never did buy a "kit lens" for my Oly, so I am changing lenses more often than I might like. This Tamron lens (14mm-150mm) is shooting the duck at 150mm. I was surprised at the clarity, because this shot was taken at dusk.
A shot from a few days ago, because I am getting ready to travel out of town tomorrow after work for a few days.
Thanks so much for your kindness towards my shot from yesterday. I really appreciate the visits, which are a gift of time for all busy people.
Tears for the victims of Nice... on Bastille Day, too. What a world.

I love the way you've composed this shot Rosie, I'm not much of a fan of bird photos, but this shot is very attractive, and so sharp. A horrible irony (?) that this latest atrocity was committed on Bastille Day, a day which commemorates a great deal of violence, albeit with good cause.
A lovely clear shot of this pretty duck. Good idea testing the lenses out before you buy. Just waking up to the terrible news in France. What a scary place the world is!! Enjoy your few days away!!
A beautiful shot Rosie - Fav It is terrible what has happened in France and I think the whole world is stunned by it! This lens is obviously very good at the longest focal length!
Beautifully captured, with really strong color and clarity. Looks like a good all around lens.
Hard to imagine what Nice is going through...and wondering what and where is next at this point. Such a horrible time for our world.
