Fireworks in Washington D.C., reflected in the water of the basin in front of the Jefferson Memorial. You can see the top of the Lincoln Memorial just peeking over the trees, under the far right side explosion.
After my first two somewhat panicked shots (I have not photographed fireworks before), we were overcome with the smoke and haze. Glad I got this one. :)

Wonderful capture! I have not tried fireworks and not sure where to start! Always avoid them as the dogs hate them I have to keep them and try to muffle the noise!
