Goldfinch having a meal taken from our conservatory on a really miserable wet day. Not very good picture photographically (taken through glass on intelligent auto setting) but I like watching the birds and it was too wet to stand outside!
How interesting. American gold finches look nothing like that. I think this is a good shot. I know how hard it is to get a shot of a bird, especially through glass.
