Crow or Rook? by rosiekind

Crow or Rook?

I'm not sure whether this is a crow or a rook but I saw him down by the river today and just had to snap him. I took lots of photos today and couldn't make up my mind which one to upload. I've got several of this bird either on the ground or in the trees and lots of seagulls, flying, swimming, standing, etc. and lots of geese and ducks. it was very cold and I think the birds were all trying to sit fluffed up to keep warm.
I've discovered that it's a crow because it has a black beak

Nice capture. The feather detail on his back is great.

@laynesgram @kbuehl @jenrobcarr Thanks - I took this picture on the grass by the river in Bedford. It is a lovely place to walk and you can usually capture some bird or other down there and I do love birds
