The sun was lovely this afternoon and I took this photo of it shining on the front door. In the summer, it is a real sun trap and we have lots of colourful plants around the door but now all we have is the camelia covered in buds which will probably not open until the spring. I can't wait! The birds were singng as if it was spring already but we mustn't become complacent because we could probably have snow around at the beginning of next year and that is only just round the corner now!
@laynesgram@sunnygreenwood@kbuehl Thanks for your comments - we haven't really had much frost yet which is probably why we still have so much green. However, the ivy stays green all year round and we have wrens that roost in there at night and they are all tucked up nice and warm!
