Don't put your hand in the fire!

I took this photo last night because as I sat in my chair watching the flames, I thought the log looked just like an upturned hand which had been severed off - gruesome! I was watching a 2 part drama on the TV which involved murder (although not dismemberment!). Gosh I do sound gory but anyway, I love watching the flames - a fire is so alive and thought I would post this as the weather has been awful yet again today and the ones I took out in the garden didn't look very impressive either
