I know that robins can be really territorial and quite nasty to each other but they do look so lovely when we see them in the garden and Mike you could be right - perhaps I will have to think about making my own Christmas cards next year and using some of these photos to illustrate them. A friend of mine always uses bird pics for both Christmas cards and birthday cards. He loves photography and takes brilliant pics with his camera which is much better than mine and we both enjoy showing them to each other. He was showing me photos he took in Oz in 2005 today
This bird is so different from the American robin that I thought you had made a mistake. But upon researching it, I find that there is a European Robin, that looks just like this. WHO KNEW? great capture
