What can I say? This is just one of the little birds feeding today in the garden. Taken in rather a hurry before I go out and cropped. I've been a naughty girl and pre-ordered a new camera the Nikon P510 on Amazon so that I can probably get even better close ups. It's not due out until 26 March so I shall have to wait to see what it's like. I've really caught the bug for this now and just want to improve my skills more. I really should do a course so that I can get the best from my cameras. At the moment it's trial and error but I do feel that I am improving slowly
It's interesting watching all the different birds & how they react to each other, whether of the same species or different. Our robin always chases off the dunnock, for example.

She's adorable. Nice capture. You must be so patient to get all these bird shots. I always move too fast and then they fly away. I admire your ability to photograph such shy, quick creatures. Exciting about the new camera, too.
