I woke up at 4.48 am and it was pouring with rain and it was still raining when I went down for Bas at 7 so I thought I wouldn't get any decent pics today. I decided to show you one of my other hobbies and that's reading. I love my Kindle which I read in bed but you can't beat a hard copy when it comes to a book about photography so I invested in Scott Kelby's set of 3 which you can dip in and out of. I must admit I must dip in a bit more as I haven't really had much time lately but I'm off work for 2 weeks after tomorrow so maybe I'll get a bit more time to try things out a bit more. I keep telling myself I mustn't buy any more books because I just love having them around and have book shelves full of them
Very nice shot. I love to read books about photography. I used to be an avid reader for pleasure but three years of law school with assignments averaging close to one thousand pages per night took some of the joy out of reading for me. My girlfriend is a voracious reader, she went through three books on vacation compared to my one!
My son the would be author wants you to own a hardback of the book he hopes to publish. I, on the other hand, read mostly on my iPad now and have a couple of Kelby's there as he simplifies things for me.
