I took this pic from the road but I walked further down and a chap was just driving his car through a gate which he was padlocking up. He asked whether I was going through and I said that I had better not as he was locking the gate. however, he said that I could climb back over. So I got my camera focussing on the lakes and then another chap came up and asked me if I was a member of the angling club to which I replied no. He said that I couldn't walk through the field because if I fell and hurt myself I could sue the club which would put it out of business. Health & Safety gone mad so I climbed through the fence and went on my way. What a sad state of affairs when you can't take pics of the sun shining on the lakes because you might sue people!
... or because you might fall over! This is just beautiful, the light and colours are perfect. It reminds me of the Plitvitce lakes we visited in Croatia.
So beautiful, looks like such an amazing place! I totally agree that health and safety have gone completely overboard... but I guess they have to when people keep suing people/organizations if something goes wrong :(
Such a peaceful scene ... and you had to go and spoil it all by calmly walking there! I am sure all those predatory "no win - no fee accident specialist" lawyers advertising on TV make some small organizations ultra-careful.
