I'm not going to apologise for posting yet another robin because I think this little fellow is just so lovely and he posed beautifully for me. So much so, that I thanked him after I had taken a few pics of him down by the river. I cut through fields to get away from people and dogs as it is not conducive to finding lovely birds to shoot as they (the people and dogs) make too much noise and scare the birds away. I think I must be walking about 21 miles a week at least as I seem to walk at least 3 miles per day which must be doing me good as I am sleeping much better (oh I shouldn't have said that because I'll have a bad night tonight).

Rosie, all your little bird shots today have been beautiful but this little robin is the crême de la crême - absolutely lovely, all the detail and the colours. A FAV! and well done - I can't get near these little birds!
stunning shot. just beautiful. Looking for a new camera mainly for super macro/landscape/night shooting. I guess you'd recommend? Also how it it weight wise?
@godsloverphotography Thank you @chezza Thanks Cheryl. The Coolpix P510 is a brilliant camera and is not heavy at all. Due to it's 42x zoom, it ensures you can focus on birds really well and it's easy to use. I pre ordered mine so got it as soon as it came out so I've had it since March 2012 and would highly recommend it
