This is just one of the geese that came marching up to me as I had some bread which I was dishing out at Priory this afternoon. I had a few mallards and a couple of Canada geese who really wanted to snatch the bread from my hand! I thought when the swan joined them he was going to snatch it. I had to back away a bit because I wasn't quite sure what the swan was going to do but despite all this I managed to take a few pics one handed while I fed them with the other. It would have been much easier if I had had someone with me to do the feeding!
What a great shot Rosie. Yes, I always feel I need a hand when I'm trying to feed the ducks and photograph at the same time. It's even harder with a dog in tow, and sometimes a scared grandchild as well! Yes, it was Judith Greenwood and she had got in touch with Katharine Hubbard as well, so we all met up for a long chat and a delicious piece of cake. It was my last appointment at Addenbrookes for my hand therapy. They've signed me off now so I have to keep up the exercises on my own.
