In between the showers I managed a walk up Wood Lane this afternoon while Steve was having his after dinner nap and I was pleased to see the yellowhammer again. I think there may have been several flitting about but I only managed to get this one who stayed still long enough for me to get 4 pics. I liked this one of him looking over his shoulder because you can see his orange rump and he looks nice amongst the blossom
Have I already told you how jealous I am of all the wonderful birds in your neck of the woods? LOL Just kidding. We seem to have an overabundance of robins and crows, although I have seen an occasional cardinal too.
