He posed on the fence for me and because I liked the DOF, I have left this just as it came out. I'm not going to apologise for another robin as I haven't posted too many lately. I was gutted because I missed the shot of my life. I usually walk along Station Road with my camera turned on but in order to conserve the battery as I seem to be charging them so frequently, I didn't turn it on. When I arrived along the path near the swamp leading into Danish Camp, I must have startled a heron because he took off quite slowly and very majestically but my camera didn't fire up quickly enough. It would have been a fantastic shot but I feel like the fisherman with the one that got away! I was gutted!
@quietpurplehaze@khirsch@princessliz@arncliffe@tishpics@busylady@carolmw Thank you @caddick No it's funny but I never seem to see him! @mejbronant I've always got a spare battery with me but occasionally I forget which one is charged up and when I put the spare in realise that it needed charging! What a pain and the trouble is you have to charge the battery in the camera which takes about 4 hours. @janturnbull I went off looking for the heron in the direction I thought he took but I couldn't find him
