I've just been for a walk in Wood Lane and the sun is shining, the birds are singing and all is right with the world! I was lucky enough to see a flock of yellowhammers, a flock of fieldfares and lots of other little birds. This little yellowhammer kindly posed in the tree for me before flying off with his friends!
Lovely - such a bright yellow. And @thresheg I would love to see a nuthatch - they used to visit our garden when I was a child and I haven't seen one since!
