Thrushes are becoming quite rare but I saw this little one along the cycle track. She flew into a bush where the track bends round and it was quite dark through there. I didn't have time to change so the ISO setting so I have lightened the pic on the computer by altering the exposure. I don't usually do too much of that but it was a question of just take the pic and hope. I have phoned work to say I wouldn't be in as I've hardly got a voice and Steve and I slept in different bedrooms last night because we were keeping each other awake with our coughing and sneezing so after a dose of Night Nurse I did actually get a better night's sleep!
Nice shot. They are so beautiful. While I agree that editing a wildlife shot is usually not good, I don't think adjusting the exposure is a bad thing, you haven't changed the colour or the detail of the bird.
Oh that's no good at all - I have heard that there's a nasty tonsillitis going around but the sun's out & should be killing bugs - hope you feel a better quickly. Beautiful thrush.
Oh, well spotted and caught! These beautiful birds are indeed a very rare sight now - such a shame!
Sorry you and Steve are poorly-sick, it's horrible when you can't get a good night's sleep for coughing! Hope you're both feeling better soon.
