Among the buttercups

This thrush was searching for worms on Cardington Green when I came out of work this afternoon. I have had a very successful day as I helped a lady to claim money back from the energy companies for next winter's fuel bills so she will be £135 better off and she was really pleased. It is so nice to be able to help these elderly people as they really appreciate what you do. I had previously managed to get her a discount of £75 off this year's bill so she was happy with the help she received. She talked about her husband who died 11 years ago and she was just pleased to have someone to listen to all her reminiscences. I do love my job as it is so worthwhile which is the reason that I'm still working! Oh and I also discovered that there is a coal tit nesting in our other nesting box on the tree outside the garage! That's another source of pleasure.

Thanks for everyone's kind comments and Favs - it is always much appreciated and I hope everyone has a lovely weekend
What a lovely composition . Clear details on the bird and good colours too.
