This blackbird looks really tatty but he's probably been feeding lots of chicks. However, he was having a break and singing his little heart out as I walked along the cycle track this afternoon. It has been a lovely day with lots of sunshine which makes us all feel better. However, it has been very humid down by the river. I went to the dentist for a filling this afternoon and it's the first treatment my new dentist has done. He was lovely and rubbed gel on my gum before doing the injections which I didn't feel at all. I'm so glad I've got a nice dentist as I've always dreaded going but regularly go every 6 months.
Fav for me! Lovely shot - he does look rather worn out - blackbirds have been struggling because they have open nests apparently and the cold has been getting to the chicks.
