I came down to get the breakfast this morning and had to go straight back upstairs to get the camera to take this little fellow. I have a male and female woodie coming to the nuts hanging on the washing line at the moment as well as the youngsters. I love having so many different species of birds coming to my garden knowing that I'm helping them to feed their young. They give me so much pleasure and I can't help keep taking pics of birds. It's a total obsession which I must try to break otherwise you'll all be bored with them!
Fav...great detail, you are so lucky to have a garden that attracts as many birds as the RSPB place in Beds! I see that you also got a new camera. Are you pleased with it? :)
@rwhite Thanks Rosie especially for the Fav. I love the new camera which I've had for nearly 3 weeks now and have taken way over 4,000 pics! Steve says I'll wear it out but it's no good having a nice camera if you don't use it. I've just got to experiment with some of the controls which I haven't used yet
Keep up the quality like this and we certainly won't get bored! Wish i could get such good shots - we too have a pair of woodpeckers visiting the feeder, not to mention adult blue tits and great tits feeding their young on the feeders, but I can't get half decent shots and time is running out!
