I went out for my walk this morning as I thought it wouldn't be so hot and it was absolutely lovely. These poppies and lavender grow outside a house which is next to the chapel in Station Road where I live. They just look so colourful and I couldn't resist a pic this morning. I have passed them so many times but they just looked so pretty. I walked about 3.5 miles (according to my pedometer) around Dovecote Lake and along the cycle track which runs along by the River Great Ouse in places. It was a wonderful morning and I spoke to quite a few people I met either walking or cycling and also a fisherman as there were several of them fishing the lake.
