I've been for a 3.5 mile walk this morning around the lakes at Willington. I left home at 9 o'clock and I was glad that I didn't leave it any later as it is another scorcher today! I got back at 11 and realised that I had taken over 300 pics! Oh dear, now to choose which ones to put on 365. I actually found some butterflies that were cooperative and sat on flowers/leaves with their wings open but I also found birds that I don't usually see so decided it has to be all birds today. Perhaps I shall post the butterflies another day. I am off to my granddaughter's graduation in Nottingham tomorrow so I'm really quite excited about it. I am so proud of her so no doubt there will be a pic of her in her gown to put on. 3 years at Uni seems to have flown by!
Thanks for all your kind comments and Favs - they are really much appreciated. Sorry if I'm a bit behind on my commenting.
@skatied@thresheg@beryl@lynnb Thank you for your kind comments and for the Fav Graham. Reed buntings aren't so colourful as some of the birds I see and they don't always get much attention because of this but they are very shy birds which is why I was so pleased to get some shots of him.
He's a little charmer and looks so good in his leafy background. I've been going to the allotment early recently, and back home about ten for breakfast and a shower. It's just too hot to go later. Hence all the activity in the kitchen later in the day. Have a lovely day tomorrow. It's out anniversary tomorrow so I'm hoping for a lovely day too.
@busylady Enjoy your anniversary tomorrow too Judith
