At least I think that's what it is but I'm happy to be corrected. I saw loads of butterflies today when I went for a walk along the cycle track. It was so hot so I walked through the wooded area where it was shady and very pleasant. This tortoiseshell was actually taken on the way back as it sat on someone's lavender bush.
