I've called him Flash Robin because I used my flash to take this pic. I've never used flash to take pics of birds before and it's not a good idea because the bird then flies away so you only have one chance! However, the tree the bird was sitting in was quite dark and I didn't have a chance to change my camera settings so thought this would be a good reason to do this. I haven't captured a robin for ages really because they blend so well with the berries and the leaves that it's often hard to spot them at the moment. However, I am always hearing them singing their autumn song
Great shot of this little robin and it looks as if the flash worked a treat. Do let us know how the camera club works out, I have been thinking about looking into a course or two, but time is sooo limited at the moment.
@jo13 You don't look as though you need a course Jo because your pics are lovely. However, I shall report back how I get on at the camera club. I can't go next week as I'm going to a friend's for dinner but I shall be there the week after!
