Wood Lane

This was taken on Saturday. I was just about to go out of the door having put my wellie boots on and wrapped up against the wind when it started raining! It had been blue skies as I drove home from work so I was a bit peeved to say the least as I had planned to walk over to Dovecote Lake. Anyway, I took a few pics round here but thought I would post this one from Saturday as I just liked this view of Wood Lane.

We have been lucky here as we didn't suffer any damage from the storm last night. I'm just sorry for those that died and others whose property was damaged.

@skstein We had 100 miles an hour winds but where I live we escaped the worst of it thankfully. 4 people died as a result of the weather when a tree crashed through a mobile home where a 17 year old girl was asleep and another crashed a car
