Welcome Messenger

This is not the best picture of Welcome Messenger but I took a while to find one on my portable hard drive. Sadly, yesterday our friend Pam in Norfolk phoned to say that Murray (her husband) had died. He was 87 and had been ill for some time. Welcome Messenger was his boat and he was a very fit person not that long ago. He used to take us out on his crab boat Welcome Messenger and this pic is dedicated to all the happy times we had in his company. Steve had been friends with Murray from days when he lived in Ashwell and they used to play their guitars in the Bushel & Strike until the early hours of the morning.
