Quick upload tonight as it's Camera Club. I have taken far too many pics today as I walked 3.8 miles over to Dovecote Lake as it was a lovely afternoon following the rain! I thought I would wade through the water where the river had burst its banks but had to turn back when the water got to 2" below the top of my boots as I wasn't sure whether it was going to get any deeper. I felt so happy when I got home though because it always makes me feel wonderful to get out in the sunshine and enjoy nature.
Lovely to see a Robin in full song. Was he sitting high up in a tree or low down on a fence? Wonder if he can forecast our weather. If he is high then the weather is going to improve .......
