So I took his photo instead. I stopped to buy some prunes to put in a cake recipe (Paul Hollywood's {Pies and Puds) which my daughter bought me for my birthday. I didn't realise that this chap was buying something and paid for my prunes while he was still waiting to be served. I apologised to him and Steve joked about the people in Cambridge being much better than those in Bedford (our nearest town). Anyway, I didn't realise until I got home that I obviously left the prunes behind on the stall as I thought about asking him if I could take his pic and he readily agreed. Nice shot but no prunes - £2.75p down the drain!
