There had been a bit of a caffuffle going on with the blackbirds and they were shouting at each other. To be honest, it was a male and female and I think they were having a bit of a domestic! In between all that, the male kept looking through the ivy on the fence to see whether I was still watching and of course I was which was when I got this shot. I love the yellow ring around their eyes which makes them stand out against the black of the bird and together with the yellow beak make this a very sleek pretty bird.
What a super capture Rosie, It even has a cheeky little twinkle in it's eye. Great composition with super focus and detail. FAV from this Magpie as it's one of my relatives.
