I haven't had a lot of time today as I went to visit a lady who I know whose husband died earlier this year and she is selling his camera gear so I went to have a look at it. She said that she has sold quite a lot of it but she still has loads left as he had such a lot of gear. It's all Nikon stuff so most should be compatible with my camera. I've got a 28mm lens to take home and try which I think I shall probably buy from her and I was particularly interested in a 400mm lens but I can't work out how to get the aperture right as it is flashing F ee and I've no idea what it means but I shall ask a friend of mine who has Nikon stuff. If anyone here know what it is, please let me know but she's going to keep that one for me until I have spoken to Ernie.
After that I went to the Computer place with my laptop (the one that's giving me so much grief) and I couldn't help myself, I broke down in tears! How silly is that??!! Anyway, I've just had a phone call from the chap in the computer place to say that he has uninstalled AVG for me and it seems to be working fine so I can pick it up tomorrow. Fingers, toes and everything crossed!
@padlock Yes it's something to do with the aperture ring on the lens as far as I can see but I can't seem to turn it and I don't want to do damage and it looks as though it's already put on the setting it suggest but I'm going to have another look before I make any decisions but thanks
Sorry that you got on a state (I have cried in similar circumstances before now ) its really through frustration isn't it !!! And it seems that tears may have helped !! -- damsel in distress and all that !!!! Hope all will be fine now and hope you will have a good buy re the lenses !
Now to this image I suggest you call it Breakfast at (Tiffany's) Rosie's !!
Super capture love the morning sun shining on the one's breast -- he really is aglow !
How frustrating to deal with computers that won't cooperate! Good luck. The Nikon gear sounds like it would be useful for the type of photography you do. I have a few lenses that were designed for older models. I have to put the aperture on the red number. One of them has a little silver button that I have to push in to move it. Once on the regular aperture it needs to be on, then the EEE message goes away and it works fine. Good luck!
