I haven't seen a yellowhammer along Wood Lane for ages but I saw a couple of them today. I have found it difficult to know what to post as I've taken rather a lot of shots this afternoon and the roses in the garden are looking lovely too.
I was surprised to see a heron and 2 little egrets in the same field along Wood Lane too. I could have kicked myself because I thought I would see what my 300mm lens was like after using Big Bertha. I wished that I had taken her with me as the shots I took weren't very good as they were quite a long way away. Oh well, that will teach me to not choose the easy option by taking the lighter lens!
