I loved the hoopoe but this little fellow is just my absolute favourite! He sings so beautifully and this something the hoopoe didn't do. He is also such a beautiful bird and I can be sure to find some of my best robin pics to make Christmas cards with for my family.
It has been an awful wet day today so I'm glad I saved Robbie robin for today's pic even though I took this on Saturday. By the way, I have successfully negotiated reduced hours at work so I'm really pleased as I have been sitting looking through some photos to enter the next Camera Club competition. I've just got to get some printed and mounted and I haven't got a lot of time as they need to be in in just over a week's time for the first one.

@homeschoolmom I'm working on that Lisa! I did actually record robin song when I was out one day and it's lovely to listen to when you are feeling a bit fed up especially on a day like today when you can't get out for a walk!
