I actually saw this robin on Friday but when I went along Wood Lane today, I could hardly stand upright because of the wind let alone hold my camera steady. There weren't many birds about
either although I did see a red kite soaring in the field in the next village as we came back from Shuttleworth. Of course we were in a line of traffic and I hadn't got my camera with me either! It's sods law!
At the moment they have closed the A1 between Sandy roundabout and the Black Cat so most of the traffic is coming through the village which means that it's a nightmare trying to cross the road! I shall be glad when they have finished all the roadworks because on Friday afternoon a lorry jackknifed on the road between our village and the next so it was even worse!

@rosiekind Hi Rosie, I'm off to the NEC on Saturday and looking at 150mm- 500mm Sigma but wondering about the 150-600mm but there is a vast difference (£250) and thinking is it worth paying for that extra reach? OR do i buy a x2 extender to make the Sigma reach further (sigma plus the x2 extender is about the same price as the Tamron on its own. Hope you don't mind me asking :-)
