Chiff Chaff

When I looked out of the kitchen window, I thought this was a female sparrow but when I got it up on the computer, I realised that it is a chiff chaff. I don't remember seeing these in my garden before but a male was hiding round the corner but I couldn't get a decent shot of him.

Your first though of female Sparrow was correct, it is a female House Sparrow. Very nice capture too,

I think we have a few of these too at the moment and I don't think I've seen them here before. I wonder if it's anything to do with the fact so many people feed these little birds nowadays! She's a sweet little bird, lovely detail.
