This is a view of one of the little towns that are dotted around. The houses all have overhanging roofs to ensure that snow can get away and not drip onto everything as it melts. Bavaria is a very green country as there are fields of solar panels up to an hour's drive from Munich airport and a lot of the houses and farms have solar panels on their roof. Apparently animals graze underneath some of the solar panels in fields so it is a good use of green spaces. I really enjoyed the hospitality of the Bavarian people and people you met often said good morning to you. I'm afraid I don't know much German but my daughter would have been in her element as she can speak fluent German and studied it to A level.
I love the landscape view of his lovely little town. I, too, have loved Bavaria when I've been there. It's interesting that so many have the solar panels there too.
