I know crows can be quite nasty to other birds but usually it's because they are protecting their nests and their young. However, I do think they have lovely glossy feathers and this one is no exception.
I've had a very busy day today and started work early in order to get everything done and despite this I was still late finishing. Then I went to pick up a prescription and off to the hairdressers so I haven't had much time. Now it's time to get dinner but I shall be back!

Great photo. I am reading a book called "Gifts of the Crow". I bought it because I want to like them.... even though they bully the smaller birds. I've had to buy caged feeders for the smaller birds that they can't get in to so they don't eat all of the bird food. I have a love/hate relationship with them. Lol. Crows are incredibly smart. They recognize faces and have a whole communication system.
And my dad pointed out that they make such a racket that all the other birds know where the food is... I tend to agree. So far reading the book has increased my appreciation for them and how smart they are. I just wish they were smart enough to realize that there is enough food for them and the little ones too!
