I was about to shoo Squizzer off the bird table and my little friendly robin came and perched on the handle of the trailer we pull round the garden with all the garden rubbish on. I was going to take a pic of Squizzer before I shooed him off for the fifth time but when I spotted my friend the robin, I decided he would make a better subject.
I'm having a bit of a time of it with my Golf as on Tuesday, warning lights came on saying STOP and check the coolant so I pulled into a layby and phone Steve to ask him whether I should carry on and he said yes but come home and don't go gallivanting off anywhere else. Anyway, he topped it up and today it decided to do the same thing again as I was coming home from doing the Sainsbury's shop. When Steve looked at it, he says it's leaking from somewhere but he's not sure quite where until he has it jacked up. He's topped it up and then told me I have a flat back tyre (again). I'm getting fed up with all these little niggles and I would get rid of it despite the fact that it's only done 52,000 miles but I hate unreliability and it's had problems before (which the VW garage don't seem to be able to diagnose) when it won't start and there is no reason for it. The trouble is I bought a Golf because I thought they were good reliable cars but I don't know what to buy to replace it because all the modern cars seem to have so much electronic gadgetry which means they are more likely to go wrong! Any suggestions? I know that Japanese cars like Honda, etc. have good reputations but I don't really know what I fancy. Steve says get a MX5 but I got rid of my MR2 because I couldn't get ion and out of it all day because it's so low.
Thank you for all your kind comments - it is always much appreciated.
