Pretty wild flower by rosiekind

Pretty wild flower

Oh dear I've taken so many pics again today and I have found it hard to choose something but I finally decided on posting this one as I just liked the way the sun was shining on it. I'm afraid the name of this flower escapes me at the moment (senior moment!)

I've been on a long walk towards Dovecote Lake but I took another track and ended up walking round the perimeter of a huge field. It was fascinating as to start with I heard a lot of noise from the Canada Geese and wondered what was wrong. I then realised that a kestrel was swooping about and although I did get some shots of him, they weren't terribly good.

At the far side of the field I saw something that I have never seen before and I will post a shot in my Bits & Bobs album so please take a look.

Thank you for your kind comments and Favs and for following my project.
A wonderful shot.

Really pretty and the colour sings against black. I think it could be a kind of mallow.

nice light and purples rosie, the upright vertical gives a touch of dynamism to the shot
